2010 Tour of the Battenkill Race Report: “How Batten(almost)Killed Me”

cycling fitness

I just completed the 2010 Tour of the Battenkill and let me tell ya, what a great event and race--even if you're not a big racer like me. The course itself is the competition and today I want to share with you my experience, my mistakes, and the joy of having a great day with friends. This is what everyday cycling is all about to me!

QUICK NOTES:

1. A BIG THANK YOU to...Tim from Penn. who gave me his water bottle and saved my butt during the race. The guy in the truck next to me who helped me get to the line with seconds to spare. Dieter Drake, the organizer for TOB, AWESOME WORK! And finally, my friends--(Tim, Shawn, Mike, and Chris) for a great time! More info on Facebook.

2. Cyclo-CORE Saved Me Training Special

Yes, this is the training that literally saved my life (you'll hear) and allowed me to fight back to a solid fifth place. Sale ends Tuesday morning...50%OFF COUPON OFF

NOW, How Batten(almost)KilledMe...
